Why This Project Exists
Ancient Cairo Explorer exists because good independent information about Egypt's monuments and museums is genuinely difficult to find. The available content is mostly promotional, commercially motivated, or written for visitors whose primary goal is a photograph rather than genuine engagement with what they are seeing.
We produce educational content about the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Cairo's cultural institutions for visitors who want to understand what they are looking at — not just stand in front of it. Our content draws on published archaeological and historical sources and is updated regularly. We are not affiliated with any institution, authority, or commercial entity.
Editorial Independence
We accept no advertising, no sponsorship, and no commercial partnerships of any kind. No museum, tour operator, hotel, or airline has any influence over what we write or how we describe it. We do not sell tickets and cannot assist with ticket purchases. If a visitor finds our content useful, that is the only return we are interested in.
